SkyX Solar Management Team is a dynamic group of seasoned professionals in diverse sectors regarding Renewable Energy, each bringing unique expertise and working collaboratively to steer the company towards success.
ZHOU Tao possesses strong expertise and extensive experience in renewable energy sector, specializing in wind, solar, and battery storage projects, covering key activities like business development, M&A, construction, and asset management.
Before joining SkyX Solar as the CEO, Tao has been working in EDF Group for 13 years, across various geographies in multiple managerial roles, including Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, Deputy COO and Project Director. He started his career as a leading engineer in Vestas and a design manager in Alstom for wind turbines.
Tao holds a Master's degree in Engineering from École Centrale de Lyon and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from École Centrale de Lille in France.
Cong Tran is an experienced senior engineering manager displaying genuine interest for renewable energy in Vietnam. He has acquired through his 14 years of experience strong expertise on solar farm, off grid system and rooftop solar projects.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from HCM University of Technology Education and is a certified MOIT Energy Auditor.
With over 16 years of experience in finance and investment, including the past five years in the renewable energy sector, Hong Nguyen brings a unique combination of financial acumen and sustainability-driven strategy to SkyX Solar. As Finance Director, he leads financial strategy, capital management, and risk governance—ensuring the company’s growth is both profitable and purpose-led.
Before joining SkyX Solar, he held senior finance and investment roles across multiple industries, driving initiatives in M&A, capital raising, cost optimization, and performance improvement.
Recognized for his transparent leadership and forward-thinking mindset, Hong builds agile finance teams and aligns financial performance with long-term value creation.
Hong holds a Bachelor of Accounting from RMIT Vietnam, has passed CFA Level III, and completed the CPA Australia program.
Ho Long Hai is an experienced counsel with a demonstrated history of working in various sectors such as energy, real estate, and construction. With over 7 years of experience in corporate, commercial, real estate, and construction law, he has worked on several projects specializing in large-scale, international mergers and acquisitions, project financing, and corporate governance.
Previously, Hai has been involved in numerous M&A transactions regarding real-estate projects located in major cities of Vietnam and has excelled in corporate governance roles in both off-shore and local businesses. Currently, he is consulting and assisting SkyX Solar's Board of Directors and Departments on a wide range of legal matters.
He earned Bachelor of Law in Economic Law from the University of Economics and Law in Ho Chi Minh City, and is a qualified counsel and member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association.
Trung Phan is a Vietnamese Australian which has management consulting and investment banking background. Before this, he was the CEO of KTG Energy where he has successfully developed more than 30MWp of rooftop solar power.
He completed Bachelor Commerce from the University of Melbourne with double majors in Economics and Finance.

The storm season of 2019-20 was particularly difficult, SkyX was very diligent to take appropriate safety measures as each storm approached and to communicate to keep us, the Customer, well informed and confident that we would not suffer any damage. The installation situation and degree of difficulty, was further exacerbated by the onset of the Covid pandemic. Which bought with it a series of travel restrictions and other measures that made the installation and commissioning of the system even more difficult. Nevertheless, SkyX completed everything in accordance with their contractual undertaking.
